JSC "Vitebsks winemaking enterprise" (VitVin) is one of leading alcohol enterprises in Vitebsk region.
Goods is a competitive product to stronger spirits (vodka, liquors, balms etc.)
Since 2005 the factory issues wines fruit strong the improved quality. For 2008 release of wines of the improved quality has grown in comparison with 2007 in 3,0 times. It is planned to increase release of wines of the improved quality. At production of wines of the improved quality process of preparation of juice is extended.
Factory goods was repeatedly represented at the International competitions-tastings and has won more than fifty medals gold, silver and bronze.
At the enterprise since 2002 it is implemented and the system of quality of STB ISO 9001 functions.The production technology of wine doesn't bear in itself ecological threat to surrounding space: it is not accompanied by a poisoning and air pollution, the noise level doesn't exceed admissible rates, industrial wastes (the oil cake of apples, berry cultures and other waste) in full takes away collective farm on a forage to cattle.
In 2009 the enterprise has renewed release of tea drinks according to the Belarus national traditions. As the factory has mastered release of large sheet black "Ceylon" and "Indian" teas .
The open joint stock company «Vitebsk winemaking plant» is based in 1932 on the basis of shop of plodovo-berry wines. In 1932 the factory issued 7 thousand has given plodovo-berry drum wine. All production equipment consisted of 5 ton press and 200-250 barrels on 300 has given. In 1941 release of fruit wines has been finished to 40 thousand has given in a year. In realization wine was issued the drum. All production processes were manual. At factory 150-170 persons worked.
During war the factory has been completely burned. Since 1945 have begun работы on restoration of factory and since 1947 the factory has started to produce drum wine.
Since 1954, the factory arms with the modern domestic equipment, and by 1960 capacity of factory has grown in 2,8 times.
The society state-owned property to be in the municipal property of Vitebsk area. Management of the shares belonging to Vitebsk area, performs body of possessory supervision – the state production association of the enterprises of the food-processing industry of Vitebsk area "Vitebskpishcheprom".
