On February, 16th 2011г the open joint-stock company «Vitebsk winemaking factory» has confirmed a rank of the Winner of the award of Vitebsk regional executive committee in a nomination «Manufacture of articles of food and selsko-economic production» for achievements in the field of quality.

The award of Vitebsk regional executive committee for achievement in the field of quality is awarded annually on a competitive basis for achievement of good results in maintenance of quality of the made production, carried out works and rendered services, increase of their competitiveness and satisfaction of requirements of consumers. Production put forward on competition is accepted to consideration under condition of acknowledgement of its due quality within a year.

 The actions for «the Historical heritage of Vitebsk» program realization are developed in Vitebsk city, where the special attention is given to the city performance, its appeal. Revival of historical and cultural values are realized.

The predesign offer of Vitebsk winemaking factory reconstruction is developed by the initiative of JSC "VitVin" director Vyacheslav Valentinovich Sapronov and a creative workshop, leaded by the deserved architect of Belarus, the state award winner and author of many sign complexes and buildings in Minsk Leonid Mendeleevich Levin.

The developing site is situated in Zadvinie area - the central part of Vitebsk city. It is limited by the Pokrovskaya, Krasina, Revolutionary streets and free from building territory at the north side.

The house-museum of Marc Chagall in which the artist with a world name was born and has grown is situated near the developing site.

There are two buildings as a part of building on Pokrovskaya street, 7 and Revolutionary street, 22 have historical and cultural value of XIX – XX centuries.

Factory reconstruction assumes:

- manufacture reorientation to natural vintage wines release, the brand creation, wine pouring in the modern packing corresponding to requirements of time;

- the modern tea manufacture performance;

- creation of a tourist complex.
